Activities
Via Elegante offers opportunities for our residents to engage, enjoy, express, learn and grow each day. Our full-time Life Enhancement Director coordinates meaningful activities such as chair yoga, theme days, exercise classes, and games of all kinds to enhance memory and motor skills.
Activities are always tailored to individual preferences of the residents in their homes and are conducted in conjunction with our entire care team. While participation is always optional, our homes and clubhouse come alive with the sound of laughter, conversation and joy, creating a real sense of community.
Via Elegante, Tucson Mountains has a grand clubhouse joining all five homes where larger group activities and performances happen.

Our Tucson Mountains Director
Ira Branson began her career with Via Elegante in 2014 as a Night Caregiver. Over the years, she had the opportunity to grow within the organization, taking on a variety of roles that have given a deep understanding of both our team and the residents we serve. Today, she’s honored to lead the Tucson Mountains community as Executive Director.
Ira’s passion for senior care started early in life. Growing up, she often accompanied her mother—also a caregiver—to work. Those experiences taught her that treating others with love, dignity, and respect is not just the foundation of quality care, but also one of the most rewarding aspects of this work. That perspective continues to guide her in everything she does.
Outside of work, she enjoy spending quality time with her husband, three children, two dogs, and her parents. As a family, they love being in the mountains, camping, and enjoying the fresh air. She is proud to be part of a team that is truly committed to providing exceptional care, and grateful for the opportunity to support our residents, their families, and our dedicated staff every day.
